Katherine is a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with over a decade of diverse clinical experience in various healthcare settings including emergency departments, cardiac units, and psychiatric units. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Anselm College, and completion of CCAR's Recovery Coach Academy- her experience combines a strong educational background with a passion for patient care and mental health advocacy.
Currently, Katherine works as the lead admissions nurse and relief nursing supervisor at a mental health hospital in CT. She is also co-chair of the staffing committee. In these roles, Katherine oversees patient care operations, manages nursing staff, and handles crisis situations while providing direct acute care to psychiatric and dual disorder patients. Katherine shows her commitment to delivering optimum patient care through her collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team.
Katherine has worked at over five hospitals and in three different states throughout her nursing career. With a strong focus on mental health and holistic patient care, Katherine is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients and contributing to the healthcare community.
