Sara Khalid, APRN, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who earned her degree from Yale University. Specializing in adult psychiatry, Sara has extensive experience in the treatment of various mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, and PTSD, among others.
Following her undergraduate studies, Sara began a PhD program in Counseling Psychology at Purdue University. There, she developed an appreciation for a truly holistic approach to mental health care that recognizes the value of both therapy and psychiatric medications. This prompted a transition to Yale University, where she received clinical training in psychiatric medication management at Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital and Connecticut Community Healthcare.
Sara use her combined proficiency in therapy and medication management to provide truly holistic care. She is unwaveringly committed to understanding each individual’s unique challenges while guiding them towards attaining their goals and having a fulfilling life.
